Intended Use
The BIOPHEN™ Calibrator Factor VIIa kit consists of lyophilized activated Factor VII (FVIIa) for the calibration of FVIIa activity measurements.
There is titrated and optimized for the assay of FVIIa by clotting technique.
Summary and Explanation
Technical This calibrator is used to establish the calibration curve of clotting assays of FVIIa (HEMOCLOT™ Factor VIIa).
Clinical Recombinant activated Factor VII (rFVIIa) may be used for treatment of patients with haemophilia and inhibitors, or in various contexts of haemorrhage.
Reagents
CAL Factor VIIa Calibrator: Lyophilized purified human FVIIa containing a titrated quantity of FVIIa of approximately 400 mIU/mL. Contains BSA.
6 vials of 2 mL.
Calibrator contains stabilizing agents.
