Product Summary:
Mayaro Virus VLP (500µg) (Special Terms Apply*) (QTXAG-476-500) is recombinant Mayaro Virus-Like Particles produced in mammalian HEK293 cells. Mayaro structural proteins are transiently expressed to form a particle comprising E1, E2 and capsid protein, without the non-structural proteins or genome. Resultant particles are totally non-infectious. Greater than 90% purity.
Recombinant Mayaro Virus VLP utilising our proprietary mammalian cell expression system. These particles contain Capsid and E1 and E2 envelope proteins. They will find application for researchers and assay developers who are looking to develop assays to distinguish Mayaro virus infection from Chikugunya virus.
