Annexin A1: It is a major annexin released by neutrophils, and it has an anti-inflammatory role which regulates the inflammatory role of the innate immune response. It is a regulator of the immune response in cancer. Its elevated concentrations in plasma indicate an ongoing stimulation of the body’s immune and inflammatory functions. It has a therapeutic potential as a drug candidate, and the 5D Elisa can also be used for testing these clinical trials.
