Affinity Biologicals, Inc. is a primary manufacturer of products used worldwide in thrombosis and haemostasis research and medical diagnostics. CHROMOGENIX offers Haemostasis and fibrinolytic testing solutions based on chromogenic substrates for use in hospitals, clinical laboratories, blood banks and pharmaceutical testing. The CHROMOGENIX product portfolio features over 30 products, including individual chromogenic substrates as well as complete kits with all reagents needed to perform specific analysis on automated instruments. CHROMOGENIX products are manufactured, distributed and supported by Instrumentation Laboratory, a worldwide developer of in vitro diagnostics.
Haematex was founded by Thomas Exner PhD, a blood coagulation expert specialising in coagulation methods, and responsible for the one stage dilute Russells Viper venom test (dRVT) that is widely used for detecting lupus anticoagulants. Exner’s special area of interest includes prothrombotic conditions, detection of which may predict strokes and heart attacks.
HemaCore was founded in 2010 as a biotech company focused on developing, manufacturing and implementing into clinical practice new in vitro diagnostic technology for haemostasis - thrombodynamics. HYPHEN BioMed develops and markets diagnostic reagents, many of which are CE marked and 510(k) cleared. The offer concerns clotting, chromogenic and immunological assays for measuring all anticoagulant drugs, blood extracts and recombinant substitutive therapies, as well as all the testing for thrombosis and haemostasis laboratories.
