LIAPHEN™ vWF:Ag is an immunoturbidimetric method, based on antigenantibody reaction: vWF antigen of the sample reacts with Latex particles sensitized with rabbit anti-vWF polyclonal antibodies, leading to latex particles agglutination. This agglutination can be directly detected by a change of absorbance. The absorbance change is directly proportional to the amount of vWF:Ag in the sample.
